Pain in the thoracolumbar back or hip may be the main symptom of spinal vascular malformations. Spinal vascular malformations are rare. The most common manifestations are subarachnoid hemorrhage or spinal hemorrhage. Spinal vascular malformations can occur at any segment of the spinal cord, but the most common are cervical and cone.
