Increased intraocular pressure

The eyeball is divided into two parts: the eyeball wall and the eye contents. Intraocular pressure is the pressure at which the contents of the eyeball interact with the wall of the eyeball. The IOP value of a normal person is maintained within a certain range (10-21 ml of Hg) to maintain the normal shape and vision of the eyeball. Eye contents include lens, vitreous body, aqueous humor and the like. One of the functions of aqueous humor is to maintain intraocular pressure. Normally, the aqueous humor is in a dynamic cycle. If any part of the aqueous humor circulation channel is obstructed, or if the aqueous humor is produced too much, the intraocular pressure will increase.
