Low oxygen partial pressure

Low oxygen partial pressure is the tension produced by the oxygen dissolved in the blood. Arterial blood oxygen partial pressure (PaO2) is normally about 13.3kPa (100mmHg), which depends on the oxygen partial pressure of the inhaled gas and the respiratory function of the lung. Pressure (PvO2) is normally about 5.32 kPa (40mmHg), which can reflect the condition of internal breathing.
