Leukopenia and agranulocytosis

Leukopenia and agranulocytosis refer to those whose peripheral white blood cell count is continuously lower than 4.0X109 / liter, and those whose neutrophil is lower than (1.5 ~ 1.8) X109 / liter. Clinically, it is characterized by dizziness, fatigue, low fever, palpitations, backache, oral ulcers, and infections. Drugs, physical and chemical factors, or severe infections can cause this disease, but they can also be secondary to other diseases, such as hypersplenism and aplastic anemia. If the disease is diagnosed and treated early, the prognosis is good, otherwise it can cause bone marrow suppression and the prognosis is poor.
