Signs of uterine rupture

Rupture of the uterine body or lower uterus during pregnancy or childbirth is called rupture of uterus. It mostly occurs during childbirth, and is related to factors such as obstructive childbirth, inappropriate dystocia, abuse of uterine contractions, uterine trauma during pregnancy, and poor healing of uterine surgery scars, and some occur in late pregnancy. Uterine rupture is one of the most serious complications in obstetrics and often causes maternal and child death. Its incidence rate is one of the criteria for judging the quality of obstetrics in a region. In recent years, with the improvement of the number and quality of obstetric workers, the tertiary health network for urban and rural maternal and child health has been established and gradually improved, and its incidence has dropped significantly.
