Renovascular hypertension

Renal vascular hypertension is a common secondary hypertension. The narrowing of one or both renal arteries and its branches caused by various causes can lead to renal vascular hypertension, and blood pressure can return to normal or improve after intervention or surgical treatment. This disease can cause ischemic nephropathy and advanced kidney disease, which is different from renal arteriolar sclerosis caused by essential hypertension.
