Cervical lymph node tuberculosis

Cervical lymph node tuberculosis (tuberculosis of lymph nodes) in Chinese medicine is called "瘰 疠". Mycobacterium tuberculosis is mostly invaded by the oral cavity (caries) or tonsils, and clinically no tuberculosis is visible at the invaded site. A small number of tuberculous lesions secondary to the lung or bronchi. Clinically, the main manifestations of cold lymphadenopathy are local lymph nodes, and there are fewer symptoms of systemic poisoning such as low fever, night sweats, and weight loss. Late lymph nodes are caseiform, and the sinuses are unhealed after ulceration, and thin pus-like pus is discharged. Comprehensive treatment measures must be taken for this disease. While standardizing anti-tuberculosis treatment, proper removal of infected lymph nodes or scraping sinus can promote healing.
