Follicular cyst

Under normal physiological conditions, when follicles develop into mature follicles, the average diameter does not exceed 1.5 cm. If the follicles are blocked or not ruptured during growth and development, the follicular fluid accumulates and forms follicle expansion. The diameter is 1.5 to 2.5 cm, which is called a cystic follicle. If it is larger than 2.5 cm, it is called a follicular cyst.
