Chronic lymphocytic leukemia

Chronic lymphocytic is a clonal malignant disease of B lymphocytes (T lymphocytes are rare). The disease is often painless, accompanied by the progressive accumulation of mature small lymphocytes that progress slowly. Such cells have inadequate immune function and low response to antigenic stimulation. Immune insufficiency is related to the inappropriate formation of abnormal B-cell antibodies. These antibodies can inhibit the body's immune function. The slow-onset stage can lead to bone marrow failure and direct infiltration of tissues and organs.
