Large bowel obstruction
Large bowel obstruction is an obstruction from the ileocecal to the anal. There are many causes of obstruction. Michle's gastric and colon cancer, colon torsion, colonic diverticulitis, and extracolonic pelvic tumors account for 95% of colon obstruction. The former two are the most common causes of complete colon obstruction.
