Urethral injury

Urinary tract injury is a common injury of the urinary system, which mostly occurs in men and mostly in young adults, especially the fixed bulb or membrane. Male urethra is divided into anterior urethra (bulbar urethra and overhang urethra) and posterior urethra (prostate urethra and membrane urethra) by urogenital diaphragm. Inappropriate management of urethral damage can lead to infection, stenosis, obstruction and sexual dysfunction.
