Extramammary eczema-like carcinoma

Extra-mammary eczema-like cancer (EMPD) is a malignant tumor that originates from cells in the duct openings of the sweat glands, or pluripotent stromal cells that differentiate from the epidermis to the sweat glands. More common in middle-aged and older people over 50 years old. Occurs in the perineum, which is rich in sweat glands. The clinical manifestations are clear-cut and long-lasting eczema-like skin damage. Surgical resection is the main treatment, but recurrence is possible.
