Esophageal cyst

Esophageal cysts are rare benign esophageal masses and are residual tissue during the embryonic stage. Because its morphology resembles benign tumors, it is generally classified as a benign tumor of the esophagus, and its incidence is second only to the esophageal leiomyoma, most of which are located in the wall of the esophagus. Can cause compression of surrounding organs and produce corresponding symptoms. Early detection and early surgery are the only method of treatment.
