Conjunctivitis

Conjunctivitis is a common disease in the ophthalmology, but its incidence has not yet been determined. Since most of the conjunctiva is in direct contact with the outside world, it is susceptible to irritation by infectious agents (such as bacteria, viruses, and chlamydia) and non-infectious agents (trauma, chemicals and physical factors) in the surrounding environment. Lymphatic tissue is abundant, and self and external antigens can easily cause sensitization. Commonly known as red eye disease.
