Connective tissue disease

Connective tissue disease, a group of diseases based on loose connective tissue myxoid edema and fibrinoid degeneration. The earliest thought was mainly caused by fibrin-like degeneration of collagen fibers, so it was called diffuse collagen disease or collagen vascular disease. Later, it was thought that the main lesion was not limited to collagen fibers, but changed to connective tissue disease. The cause is not very clear, and it is generally believed to be related to heredity, immunity, and viral infection, and it is a multi-cause disease. With the development of immunology, it is found that most connective tissue diseases are accompanied by immunological abnormalities, such as low inhibitory T cell function and hyperhumoral immune function, and some connective tissue diseases have autoantibodies, so this group of diseases is also classified Immune disease or autoimmune disease.
