Functional dyspepsia in children

Functional dyspepsia (FD) refers to symptoms of digestive dysfunction such as persistent or recurrent epigastric pain, bloating, early satiety, belching, anorexia, heartburn, acid reflux, nausea, vomiting, etc. Organic disease is a group of the most common clinical syndromes in pediatric digestive medicine. Children with functional dyspepsia have different complaints and lack a certain specific pathophysiological basis.
