Pediatric tuberculous pericarditis
Pediatric tuberculosis pericarditis is not uncommon clinically, it is more common in school-age children, tuberculous pericarditis can be divided into two types of exudative and constrictive. Pericardial inflammation is reported first in non-specific cases, and tuberculosis is the most common in China. Acute pericarditis is tuberculous 4 to 7%, pericardial tamponade occurs in 7%, and 6 to 7% of cases develop constrictive pericarditis. Tuberculous pericarditis in China occupies an important position in pericardial diseases, accounting for 21.3-35.8% of pericardial diseases. At present, the incidence of tuberculosis in the world is increasing. Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) transmission is one of the main reasons.
