Primary open-angle glaucoma

Primary open angle glaucoma is also called chronic simple glaucoma, commonly known as slow single. It is due to the increase in intraocular pressure as a basic feature, which in turn causes optic nerve damage and visual field defects, and finally leads to blind chronic progressive eye disease. There are open-angle glaucoma rooms, most of which are wide-angle and few are narrow-angle. Primary open-angle glaucoma may be more than one disease, with common damage to the retinal ganglion cells and the optic nerve. The onset of this disease is concealed, often without symptoms, and is mostly found during routine eye examinations or health screening.
