Black tongue

The lingua villosa nigra is also called black hairy tongue, hairy tongue, and lingua melanosis. The filamentous nipples are hyperproliferated, and the keratinized part does not fall off to form a fluffy moss, which is named black, blue-black or brown. It belongs to the category of red tongue at the bottom of black spines in traditional Chinese medicine.
