Pancreatic cystadenocarcinoma

Pancreatic cystadenocarcinoma (Pancreatic cystadenocarcinoma) is also a proliferative cyst of the pancreas, which can be derived from pancreatic cystadenomas. This disease is very rare clinically, accounting for only 1% of pancreatic malignancies. The earliest literature reports on pancreatic cystadenocarcinoma can be found in Kaufman (1911) and Lichenstem (1834) in German and American journals. In 1963, Cullen's 2.4 million inpatient records at Mayo Hospital found 17 cases of pancreatic cystadenocarcinoma with complete data that could be diagnosed. As of 1984, Segessen counted only more than 100 cases of pancreatic cystadenocarcinoma reported in medical literature around the world. China has scattered cases or a few cases.
