Speech and language development disorders

Speech and language developmental disorders refer to disorders in the way language is acquired early in development, manifested as delays and abnormalities in the development of pronunciation, language understanding, or language expression, which affect learning, professional, and social functions. These conditions are not due to abnormal neurological or speech mechanisms, sensory impairment, mental retardation, or environmental factors. Language development disorders refer to obstacles in the process of understanding, expression and communication caused by various reasons, including expression language disorders, sensory language disorders and acquired aphasia associated with epilepsy. In terms of speech development disorder, it refers to developmental and rhythmic disorders in oral speech, which mainly include specific speech articulation disorder and speech fluency disorder (stuttering).
