Mycoplasma urogenital infection

With the continuous deepening of research and the emergence of new selection media, new species of mycoplasma have increased. To date, mycoplasma that can cause human sexually transmitted diseases (STD) or parasitize the human urogenital tract include mycoplasma urealyticum, mycoplasma hominis (MH), mycoplasma genitalium (MG), and mycoplasma (mycoplasma penetrans, MPe), mycoplasma fermentans (MF), mycoplasma salivarium (MS), mycoplasma spermatophilum (MSp), and mycoplasma primatum (MPr). There is evidence that such mycoplasma (MH, MG) can cause human urogenital infections and are common pathogens of non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU). Can cause urethritis, male infertility, chronic prostatitis, epididymitis, salpingitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, vaginitis and so on. Ureaplasma urealyticum is one of the important pathogens that cause perinatal maternal and infant infection.
