Left heart dysplasia

Left heart dysplasia is a rare and complicated congenital cardiovascular malformation. The incidence is about 1-27 / 100,000, accounting for about 1.4% of congenital cardiovascular malformations. The common point of this type of malformation is that the left ventricle has a stenosis or atresia in a certain part, which causes the left atrium, pulmonary veins, and pulmonary arteries to expand and increase pressure, so the blood flow in the right ventricle increases, and it must be accompanied by an arterial catheter to survive. In 1952 Lev called congenital cardiovascular malformations of left hemicardial dysplasia and right hemicardial hypertrophy as left ventricular channel dysplasia syndrome. In 1958, Noonan and Nadas suffered from left ventricular obstruction and dysplasia of cardiac vascular malformations called left ventricular dysplasia syndrome.
