Aged nephritis in the elderly

Acute nephritis, also called rapid progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN), was first proposed by Ellis in 1942. It is clinically an acute nephritis syndrome. It is a group of clinical manifestations with similar pathological changes but different causes. Glomerulonephritis. The clinical manifestations are rapid development of the disease, rapid development of proteinuria and hematuria, and renal failure within months or even weeks. Prognostic glomerulonephritis. The pathological change of this disease is the proliferation of cells in the glomerulus and fibrin deposition, so it is also called crescentic nephritis. Although the incidence of this group of diseases is low, timely diagnosis and adequate treatment can effectively change the prognosis of the disease, so it has attracted great attention in the clinic.
