Pseudohypoparathyroidism with fibrocystic osteitis

Pseudohypoparathyroidism with fibrocystic osteitis (PHP with fibrocystic osteitis) is a type in PHP and is relatively rare. The patient had hand-foot convulsions caused by hypocalcemia. Bone can be deformed and easily broken. Treatment with vitamin D or its derivatives can restore blood calcium to normal, followed by PTH to normal, and bone lesions heal. Treatment should be maintained throughout life.
