Subacute thyroiditis in children
Subacute thyroiditis is a non-purulent inflammatory disease. With thyroid damage and tissue damage to full recovery, the corresponding clinical manifestations and changes in thyroid function appear, that is, from hyperthyroid rarr; hypothyroid rarr; normal thyroid function. More common in adults, very rare in children. The disease is a self-limiting disease with a course of weeks to months.
