Cogan syndrome

Cogan syndrome is also known as interstitial keratitis-vertigo-neurological hearing loss syndrome. First reported by Mogan and Baum Gartner (1934), and later identified by Cogan (1945) as an independent systemic disease. Its main characteristics are: ① non-syphilitic interstitial keratitis; ② vertigo and other vestibular symptoms; ③ severe bilateral neurological deafness; ④ systemic vasculitis manifestations, such as congestive heart failure, gastrointestinal bleeding and so on.
