Scalp and skull burns

The disease is caused by scalp and skull damage caused by high temperature, electric shock and chemicals on the head. Depending on the time, concentration, strength, location and range of head contact, the severity of the damage varies. It is not uncommon clinically, but there are not many reports. Before the application of conservative treatment and antibiotics, bacterial infection was often caused by tissue degeneration and necrosis and exudation, leading to disease deterioration and even life-threatening. In modern times, necrotic tissue is removed, followed by wound reduction suture, skin flap and skin grafting, and antibiotic treatment. The curative effect is still good. Due to advances in microsurgical technology, some people have applied anastomosis of their blood vessels to the scalp blood vessels after complete necrotic tissue excision, and new progress has been made.
