Dystrophic polyneuropathy

Dystrophic polyneuropathy is a common type of polyneuropathy. It is caused by nutritional deficiencies or metabolic disorders. Symmetric sensory disturbances in the distal limbs, paramotor inferior motor neurons, and / or autonomic nerve disorders are feature. Nutrient deficiency caused by various reasons, especially lack of specific nutrients (such as vitamins), can affect some functions of the central nervous system and / or peripheral nerves or cause pathological damage, resulting in some neuropsychiatric symptoms. The lack of nutrients is usually dominated by a certain kind, which can be accompanied by a combination of several substances. Causes of nutrient deficiency include insufficient intake, excessive consumption, and increased physiological needs. Diseases of internal organs such as liver and pancreas can cause abnormal metabolism of certain substances required in the body.
