Zygomycosis

Zygomycosis is an acute, subacute, and chronic conditional infection caused by pathogenic bacteria belonging to the Zygomycetes class. The disease is distributed worldwide. With the expansion of the immunodeficiency population in recent years, the incidence of the disease has increased significantly. In China, in 1994, Liao Wanqing first reported that rhizopus rhizopus caused pyoderma gangrenosum. Mucor exists everywhere in nature and is an important spoilage organism. Under normal circumstances, the bacteria are non-virulent, and infections mostly occur in patients with severe underlying diseases. Mucorales has an acute onset, rapid progression, and high mortality. Most of the infections caused by worms are chronic inflammatory or granulomatous diseases. The diagnosis is mainly based on mycological examination and histopathological examination. Mucorales infection treatment principles include control of basic diseases, removal of infected necrotic tissue, and timely intravenous drip of amphotericin B. Saturated potassium iodide solution is effective for the treatment of frog faecal mold infection, 30mg / kg, and ketoconone 400mg / d can be taken orally. Amphotericin B is rarely used.
