Yaws

Yaws, also known as frampesia tropica, is a contact skin infectious disease caused by Pleurotus spp. Subspecies, mainly affecting the skin, bones and cartilage; it is mainly prevalent in some tropical rural areas. Regions, mostly occur in children and adolescents. China's Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi, Taiwan and other regions have had sporadic or regional epidemics, but the disease has been eliminated by the mid-1960s. The disease is still prevalent in Africa, Central and South America, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
