Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney
The incidence rate is about 1/1000, and its penetrance rate is almost complete, which makes all carriers living above 80 years old show some signs of the disease. About 5% to 10% of end-stage renal failure is caused by autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD).
