Epidural abscess is a rare disease that often causes damage to the patient due to misdiagnosis. Factors prone to epidural abscess include: diabetes, chronic kidney disease, immune deficiency, alcoholism, malignancy, intravenous drug abuse, spinal surgery and trauma.
