Ethmoid sinusitis

Ethmoid sinusitis is a mild headache for acute ethmoid sinusitis, with headache between the eyebrows. The medial condyle angle on the ipsilateral side is equivalent to tenderness at the ethmoid cardboard, and posterior ethmoid sinusitis may have occipital headache. When the inflammation is severe, there may be redness and swelling on the skin of the inner crotch and upper eyelid, and acute congestion of conjunctiva, which is more common in children. Rhinoscopy showed redness and swelling in the middle turbinate, and purulent discharge in the middle nasal passage and olfactory sulcus. Chronic ethmoiditis (chronicethmoiditis) is often combined with chronic maxillary sinusitis. In addition to the symptoms of chronic suppurative sinusitis, hyposmia is more pronounced. Multiple nasal polyps are often present, and pus may remain in the middle nasal passage and olfactory sulcus. X-ray or CT sinus radiograph showed turbidity in the ethmoidal chamber or disappearance of the atrial septum. The treatment of ethmoid sinusitis is mainly antibiotics and nasal drops.
