diabetes

Diabetes is a common disease caused by the interaction of genetic and environmental factors. Clinically, high blood sugar is the main sign. Common symptoms include polydipsia, polyuria, polyphagia, and weight loss. Diabetes can cause damage to multiple systems of the body, cause insufficient or relative secretion of insulin, and decrease the sensitivity of target tissue cells to insulin, and cause a series of metabolic disorder syndromes such as protein, fat, water and electrolytes. A marked increase in blood glucose can cause acute complications such as diabetic ketoacidosis and hypertonic coma. Long-term disease can also cause vascular and neuropathy, which can cause damage to multiple organ tissues such as the heart, brain, kidney, eyes, nerves, and skin. It affects the quality of life of patients, and even leads to shortened life span. It should be actively prevented and treated.
