RBC

The red blood cell count refers to the number of red blood cells contained in a unit volume of blood, and is of great significance for diseases that involve the red blood cell system. Under normal circumstances, the production and destruction of red blood cells are in a dynamic equilibrium, so the number and quality of red blood cells in the blood remain relatively stable. Irregularities in the generation and destruction of red blood cells, regardless of the cause, will cause changes in the number or quality of red blood cells, leading to disease.
