CT angiography

CT angiography, also known as CTA, refers to the rapid injection of a contrast agent from the subject's vein. Through human blood circulation, the scan is performed at the time when the concentration of the contrast agent in the blood vessel (artery and vein) reaches its peak. Post-processing of the workstation reconstructs a three-dimensional stereo image of the blood vessel.
