Abdominal mass

Abdominal mass examination is an auxiliary diagnostic method to check whether there is a lump in each organ in the abdominal position by palpation. When there are enlarged or ectopic organs, inflammatory masses, cysts, enlarged lymph nodes, gastric stones, and benign and malignant tumors in the abdominal cavity, the mass can be touched. In addition, during abdominal palpation Some normal masses may be mistaken for intra-abdominal masses. Therefore, the "intra-abdominal pseudomass" should be distinguished from pathological mass first.
