Very low density lipoprotein-cholesterol
VLD cholesterol is mainly synthesized by the liver, and its important function is to transport endogenously synthesized triacylglycerols. Its degradation is affected by factors such as diet, intestinal liver tissue, and epinephrine on the inner walls of capillaries.
