Hemagglutination test

The hemagglutination test, also known as the Coombs test, is a method for detecting incomplete antibodies against red blood cells. It is divided into direct Coombs test and indirect Coombs test. The purpose of the direct test is to check for incomplete antibodies on the surface of red blood cells and the purpose of the indirect test is to check for the presence of free incomplete antibodies in the serum.
