Occlusion check
Examination of the occlusal relationship is to examine the molar occlusal relationship. The maxillary first molars bite in the mesial cheek and the mandibular first molars in the mesial cheek groove. As well as checking the occlusion relationship, the incisors of the lower teeth bite at the lingual third of the crown of the upper teeth.
