Immunoelectrophoresis

Immunoelectrophoresis (immune eleCTrophoresis) is a qualitative method for the analysis of antigen composition by combining agar electrophoresis and two-way agar diffusion. Founded by GrABar and Williams in 1953. This technology is a basic immunology technology widely used in the biomedical field because of its high specificity of antigen-antibody reaction and the fast, sensitive and high resolution of electrophoretic separation technology.
