GC globulin

GC globulin is synthesized by liver cells and has a steroid binding site on the molecule. It is a tool for binding and transporting vitamin D and its metabolites. It can bind with monomeric actin (G-actin) in an equal molecular ratio, and can inhibit the polymerization of G-actin to F-actin. It is the main scavenger of actin and can prevent microbial invasion Damage to tissues caused by cell destruction in the body.
