Costal chondritis

Costal chondritis is a chronic inflammation that occurs in the costal cartilage. Sterile costal chondritis is a non-specific, non-purulent costal chondritis inflammation. Infectious costal osteochondritis, also known as suppurative costal osteochondritis, is a rare surgical infection, divided into two types: primary and secondary. Literature reports are mostly secondary.
