Central line defect
Physical examination of children with sternal fissures revealed soft tissue fissures in the upper, lower, or all sternal areas, and palpable blood vessels. Cantrell syndrome can also be seen in the central abdominal wall defects, diaphragmatic adjacent pericardial defects and various types of cardiac malformations.
