Serum leucine aminotranspeptidase is widely present in various tissues of the human body. It is most abundant in liver, pancreas, gallbladder, small intestine, uterus, and muscle. It is also distributed in duodenum, serum and urine. Glycine aminotranspeptidase is of great significance in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary diseases.
