α2-HS-glycoprotein

α2-HS-glycoprotein is also called thermostable glycoprotein. Most of it is synthesized by the liver and is a component of the bone matrix. Its half-life in blood is 4 to 5 days. The immunoelectrophoresis position is slightly faster than that of bound globin and is located between GC globulin and bound globin.
