Pratt test

The Pratt test is an auxiliary test used to check whether a vein is normal. Normal people's lower limb venous valves can prevent blood stasis and varicose veins caused by blood reflux. If there is a defect in the venous valve function, when standing or the proximal soft tissue is squeezed, the blood in the vein will flow back to the distal heart. In this test, the function of the venous valve is judged by squeezing the soft tissue of the proximal heart and observing the filling of the distal vein. Through this examination, the corresponding symptoms can be judged.
