Urine 17-ketogenic steroids

Urinary adrenocortical hormone intermediates and metabolites, including urine 17-hydroxycorticosteroids (17-OHCS), 17-ketosteroids (17-KS), 17-ketogenic steroids (17-KGS), and urine progesterone were measured. The determination of these substances can indirectly reflect the function of the adrenal cortex, and has certain diagnostic value for some patients with special adrenal hyperplasia. Due to the application of new and more sensitive adrenal cortex function detection methods, the above detection methods have been rarely used.
