Antibody-dependent cytotoxicity

Killer cells are a type of lymphocyte that is neither T nor B. It has no surface Ig, but has Fc receptors, which can play a role in killing target cells with the participation of specific antibodies. After the target cell surface antigen is bound to the corresponding antibody, the Fc segment of the antibody binds to the surface of the K cell, forming an antibody bridge to contact the target cell to cause a killing effect. Therefore, the K cell is also called an antibody-dependent cell (Antibody-Dependent Cell). -mediated Cytotoxic (ADCC). This killing effect is non-specific and does not require complement participation.
